Seclore Announces Automated External User Onboarding for Enterprise Rights Management

August 5, 2015, Mountain View, CA. – Seclore, the leading provider of Enterprise Rights Management solutions, today announced the availability of new User Onboarding capabilities for their FileSecure solution that offer breakthroughs in ease-of-use for sharing and utilizing secured files. The new capabilities make the user registration and software installation process so intuitive that it can be done by anyone, on any network, and on any device, without administrative privileges.

Seclore FileSecure, a comprehensive Enterprise Rights Management solution, protects files wherever they go.  Using FileSecure, organizations can control and audit exactly who can access a file, what they can do with the file, for how long, and from which device.  These usage controls remain with the file and can be remotely modified or revoked by the document owner at any time.

The latest release includes two primary features that will accelerate an organization’s ability to engage in secure collaboration.  First, is an innovative Dynamic Request Access capability, which automates and streamlines the new user onboarding request and approval process. With this new feature, a user can easily request access to a protected file, the owner can approve the process with a single click, and the new user is automatically registered.  The ability to dynamically discovery and register users eliminates the need to define rigid, pre-set policies upfront, ensuring more files are shared in a secure manner.

The new release also offers automated installation capabilities and built-in platform detection, making it easy for any user to adopt rights management without needing administrative privileges.

‘One of the biggest challenges to adoption of Enterprise Rights Management has been the onboarding of new users,’ stated Vishal Gupta, CEO at Seclore.  ‘Our mission is to make it seamless and easy for anyone to send and utilize protected files so that an organization can readily engage in external collaboration and leverage file sharing and cloud services without risking their corporate value.’
