New Release of Seclore FileSecure Establishes Leadership in External Collaboration Security

Mountain View, CA  – Seclore, the leading provider of information-centric security solutions, today announced a new release of Seclore FileSecure, their award-winning Enterprise Rights Management solution. This latest release is focused on making it very easy for organizations to collaborate with advisors, prospects, vendors, and contractors without worrying about security, privacy, or compliance.

“With the latest release, Seclore is leading the way to making information-centric security a natural part of the security infrastructure for an organization,” stated Vishal Gupta, CEO at Seclore. “By removing friction associated with external users’ adoption of enterprise security systems, Seclore has successfully alleviated the trade-off between security and ease-of-use. Security policies can now truly transcend the boundaries of enterprises.”

Some of the new innovations in this release that establish Seclore’s leadership in external collaboration security include:

  • Full flexibility in how users engage in rights management
  • Rich agent for Mac OS providing native operating system support for protected files
without requiring administrative rights to install
  • Rich agent for Windows with native Microsoft Office support for protected files
without requiring administrative rights to install
  • Rich, light-weight agents for iOS and Android devices
  • Browser-based access to protected files with any agent installation
  • Automated and ad-hoc on-boarding of external users via the built in identity management
    system
  • Automated external user authentication with robust Identity Federation capabilities
  • Pre-built connector for SAP: enables usage policies to be automatically attached to files
that are downloaded and shared with external parties
  • Policy federation capability: Enables Seclore FileSecure to utilize the access policies in
existing ECM and ERP systems to protect downloaded files
  • Language support for Spanish, Russian, English, and German

“External collaboration and outsourcing have become natural ways to conduct business. File-sharing services and mobile devices have further accelerated the sharing of sensitive information outside of the organization’s boundaries. With this release of Seclore FileSecure, we are raising the bar for how easy it is to secure information that needs to be shared during collaboration,” said Abhijit Tannu, CTO at Seclore. “We want to enable organizations to stop
worrying about the security of file-sharing services, mobile devices, and the Cloud and get re-focused on their business.”
